This inaugural service to Pittsburgh marked Icelandair’s 16th destination in North America. This opportunity allows international and domestic visitors to explore Pittsburgh or Iceland before arriving at the final destination. 

Icelandair Presence at the Pittsburgh Airport

But those with bags have to scale it, tag it, check it, and get a receipt as well for future reference. If your items come out to be overweight, then you’ll have to pay extra as a penalty. Lastly, before checking in your bags, make sure to attach the baggage tags duly filled in with important details.
3. Security Checkpoint: This is the crucial part! Be ready to go through the screening machine at the checkpoint. Don’t panic already! There are dedicated staff who will be guiding you through every little step. First, you’ll have to provide your ticket and boarding pass to the official standing in front. From thereon, start to take off your shoes, jacket or coat, belt, or any other metal items along with electronic gadgets. The staff will provide you with bins to put these things in.
